  5. How can I verify the genuineness of EMD and other technical documents received through the eAuction system?

    Documents submitted by bidders are digitally signed using valid Digital Signature Certificates (DSCs), which are legally equivalent to physical signatures as per the IT Act. For the Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), it is recommended that AIAs request bidders to upload a scanned copy of the draft/cheque/bank guarantee along with other documents on the portal.
